Pressing Alt + C allows you to copy whatever is selected within a track (including In and Out points) to the Source monitor. The selected section can then be pasted in elsewhere.
Within the Title Tool, Alt can be used with the left and right arrow keys (> <) to adjust the kerning between individual characters.
Hold Alt and click on an effect parameter Enable button within the Effects Editor to reset it to its default state.
Hold Alt and click on the panning slider within the Audio Mix tool to set track panning to Mid. Hold Alt and click on the volume slider to reset it to 0dB.
Holding Alt and double-clicking on a clip in a bin will open the clip in a new window, thus allowing you to retain the clip previously loaded in the Source window.
Holding down Alt while clicking on Match Frame allows you to retain In and Out points previously set in the Source window.
