This course covers the additional theory and techniques required in managing the online process, and producing a finished output for broadcast or other purposes. Creating finishing quality media to the highest standards is covered in depth. We also look at the theory underlying new formats and how Avid systems deal with and convert between them.

- Preparing projects and media for an online session
- Managing media through the offline to online process
- Converting projects and timelines to HD at correct frame rate
- Outputing the finished program to a variety of SD and HD distribution formats

Pre-requisites
MC 101 and MC 110 (prior to Sept. '09 MC 101) courses are recommended
