This course focuses on effect design techniques and advanced keyframing to create complex effect composites. Hands-on exercises will help you to create and combine effects to achieve real-world results.

This course is aimed at
Producers, editors, assistant editors on both Avid Media Composer and Symphony systems. It teaches the more advanced effects techniques and usages that are available within Media Composer and is perfectly suited for both those looking to move into effects works as a specialty and those looking to extend their off- and online skills.
Pre-requisites
MC 101 Editing with Avid Media Composer (since Sept 2009) . Editing experience on the Avid Media Composer system is essential.
Those who took 101 before Sept 2009 and those who are self taught will need a Day 0 preparatory course to prepare for 205. This runs the day before 205 (August 31st)
