This Avid Certified course introduces the concepts of non-linear editing and examines, in depth, many features of the new Avid Media Composer and Symphony. The course is now a comprehensive and thorough guide to Avid editing, encompassing material from several other courses, taking participants through to an intermediate level with both tape-based and file-based media. It's extremely useful for seasoned editors as well as an introduction for new Avid users. Session time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice.
