Need to learn Avid Media Composer? This Avid Certified course is designed for newcomers and those wishing to gain a firm foundation for their knowledge of Avid. It introduces the concepts of non-linear editing and examines features of Avid systems from Media Composer to Adrenaline and Symphony. Session time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice.

This course is aimed at
Producers, editors, assistant editors and the novice or intermediate Avid user.

Pre-requisites
No familiarity with Avid systems is required. You are however required to be familiar with post-production processes and with general computer operations (such as Word and Excel). If you do not have a background in professional editing, it is recommended that you take our 1-day ‘Editing – Fundamental Concepts’ course before tackling Avid 101.
