This Avid Certified course introduces the concepts of non-linear editing and examines, in depth, many features of the new Avid Media Composer and Symphony. The course is now a comprehensive and thorough guide to Avid editing, encompassing material from several other courses, taking participants through to an intermediate level with both tape-based and file-based media. It's extremely useful for seasoned editors as well as an introduction for new Avid users. Session time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice.

This course is aimed at
Producers, editors, assistant editors and the novice or intermediate Avid user. This course assumes you are conversant in the language of editing. You will benefit most from the course if you have some experience of video or film editing or have attended our Editing - Fundamental Concepts short course.
