The Film and Video Umbrella commissioned artist Marcus Coates to produce a moving image piece for the touring Darwin Bicentenary in 2009.
‘Follow The Voice’ was shot in HD on a Canon 5D and the film establishes striking parallels between a range of familiar man-made sounds.
Calling on VET’s brilliant Canon 5D / 7D post service enabled the artistic intentions to be fully realised; getting the best out of both image and sound design.
Coates became a featured artist in the Tate Triennial ‘Altermodern’ exhibition and the recipient of a Paul Hamlyn Artists’ Award. VET continues to provide amazing post production services to all.
