Post Production has become increasingly dependent on IT in recent years. As technologies converge, IT engineers are now finding themselves involved in the TV production and post production environment. This course is designed to put some of the basic building blocks in place, giving IT people an understanding of how the television signal is formed from images and sound, how studios and post-production areas go together and function technically, and how IT is becoming central to all of this. Participants will come away with a good understanding of TV jargon and processes.
