Course Details:
This course provides a solid foundation in Media Composer audio and video effects capabilities. It introduces the basic effects-building interface. Using a real-world, hands-on approach, this course teaches fundamental audio adjustments and effects, multi-layered video compositing, tracking, stabilisation, various re-timing methods and basic colour grading techniques. In conjunction with Media Composer 6 (Part 1) MC 101 Editing Essentials will prepare you for Avid Core level certification in Media Composer 6 and 6.5.

This course is aimed at
Editors who are familiar with the basics of the editing tools in Media Composer and are ready to move ahead and learn the fundamentals of compositing and finishing within Avid Media Composer 6. Completion of Media Composer 6 (Part 1) MC 101 Editing Essentials is recommended but not essential.
