This course will cover the recent updates to Avid Media Composer, including drag and drop editing, the new Smart Tool, and multi channel audio with stereo tracks as well as other enhancements for working with file-based media. The course offers experienced Avid editors the chance to rapidly gain familiarity with the new features and functionality of this major release. Some lesser known, but useful techniques from earlier versions are also included.
