Patricia Townsend is a photographic and video artist. In 2003, she came to VET for help in encoding some of her video work.
The work consisted of mesmerisingly non-narrative locked off shots. On encoding it herself Patricia found the results disappointing. Slow fades and complex shots did not display properly using a dial-up connection.
With the help of VET, Patricia was able to take advantage of then newly-emerging broadband technology. “In the end, I decided that the low and medium quality versions… were not doing justice to the work and we decided not to use them.”
A fast and furious journey through the work we do here at VET.
It does exactly what it says in the title!
