Mental Health Media (MHM) uses the media to promote the voices of people with experience of mental health problems and to challenge the discrimination that they face. It also runs the annual Mental Health Media Awards.
During the time that broadband was becoming more readily available, MHM realised how streaming could enhance their site by inclusion of on-line clips thus promoting sales of their video catalogue and making extended learning resources avilable. “The opportunity to try streaming out with the help of VET enabled us to make the most effective and cost-efficient decisions”. Where as streaming was a new technology at the time, it is an ever as relevant technology to use today in enhacing a site.
